Downtown Los Angeles:- Filipino junior featherweight star, Nonito Donaire Jr (29-0-2, 18KO) today met his challenger, Japan?s Toshiaki Nishioka (39-4-3, 24KO) for the first of the expected series of press conferences to hype up their title scheduled at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA on October 13th.
The event which was put up by Top Rank Promotions was held at the Crystal Ballroom of the fame Millennium Biltmore Hotel in this City.
Joining Donaire and Nishioka are the fighters on the supporting main event, undefeated Mike Alvarado ( 33-0-0, 23KO) of Denver, CO and Brandon Rios (30-0-1, 21KO) of Oxnard, CA.
