PINOY PRIDE XV: TEAM MEXICO PERFORMS AT SM CEBU

CEBU CITY - Mexican boxers Rosbel ?Lobito? Montoya (36W-4L-1 D, 30 KO's), Jorge ?El Feroz? Pazos (21W-3L, 14 KO's) and Angel ?Arcangel? Martinez (18W-2L-1D, 13 KO's) performed in front of an appreciative crowd at the SM Cebu Events Centre Thursday afternoon.

Fight fans got a glimpse of what to expect this Saturday as the trio took turns shadow boxing on stage and as an added treat, they got to pose for photos with the boxers. The promotional event was also attended by Mexican manager and promoter Jesus Edmundo Gaytan and trainer Magdaleno Montoya. Lucky fans also got to win free tickets during the Q and A portion.

Montoya will face the ALA gym?s Jason ?El Ni?o? Pagara (28-2, 17 KO's) in the main event. They will vie for the WBO International jr.welterwieght title. Pagara will try to avenge his points loss to Montoya last year at the same venue.

Pazos is set to face undefeated Genesis ?Azukal? Servania (18W-0L, 6 KO's) for the vacant WBO Asia-Pacific super bantamweight title. Martinez (18W-2L-1D, 13 KO's) on the other hand will face Jimrex ?The Executioner? Jaca (39W-6L-3D, 19 KO's).

PINOY PRIDE XV: MEXICO VS PHILIPPINES THE REMATCH will be held at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino on August 18. Set to appear on the undercards are ?Prince? Albert Pagara vs Alvin Maquiling, Mark Vincent Bernaldez vs Joash Aperecio, Juren Labordo vs Powell Balaba, JP Artieda vs Hector Rojoca and the clown prince of Cebu boxing, Jojo ?Flash? Intor vs Peter Aldrin. Fight time is at 6 PM.




Montoya, Pazos and Martinez work out at SM City Cebu Wednesday.
