I met up with Tony Martin who trained Mark Melligen in Las Vegas and asked his take on Mark?s comeback as reported by Ronnie Nathanielz.

Martin on hearing the news that Melligen was finally making a comeback in the boxing scene was very pleased to hear that news.

?I for one am happy to learn about his return as I have always stated that Melligen has an inborn talent and if trained correctly with enough time can still, in my opinion, become a world champion,? Martin said.

?I am certain that Mark is now in the right frame of mind to take on any opponent put in front of him and will win convincingly.

?Even though, Mark let himself and other people down in his last fight against Sebastian Lujan on July 1, 2011, I am quite certain that he will redeem himself given a second chance by promoter Sammy Gello-Ani.

?The one thing I can say about Mark is that he never refused to fight any opponent that Top Rank put in front of him unlike so many other boxers who will decline for whatever reason,? Martin continued. ?I can state as far as Mark?s relationship with Top Rank, ALA Promotions and from me, was that losing was not an option.?

With the comeback, Melligen has surely learned his lesson and will prove to everyone that he is still a force to reckon with and worthy of becoming a champion.
