The veteran hard hitting Mexican Genaro ?Poblanito? Garcia just sent this writer a text message that he is at the airport with trainers Roberto Lopez and Arturo Contreras and are ready to board on a KLM flight to the beautiful country of the Philippines.

Genaro Garica wants to clear his name after another boxer with the same name, Genaro ?Panterita? Garcia who couldn't punch himself out of a wet paper bag came and fought the worst fight ever seen on Philippine soil.

The real Garcia who has an astonishing record of (38-8-22 KO) will come and challenge the young hot prospect from ALA Promotions, Genesis ?Azucal? Servania (17-0, 5 KO) in the Pinoy Pride 14 boxing series in Resorts World Pasay City Manila. Garcia has fought 8 world champions in his illustrious career. Garcia has had 13 fights away from Mexico and won 8 of those fights.

In his illustrious career, Garcia has managed to attain the WBC Continental Americas Super Flyweight Championship, WBC Continental Americas Bantamweight Championship, and WBC FECARBOX Bantamweight Championship (twice). He has challenged for the IBF World Bantamweight Title, WBC World Bantamweight Title and the WBC World Super Bantamweight Title but came out short in these tough battles.

This will be a tough test for the young Servania and a test for the veteran Garcia for maybe another title shot in the future.

MAY THE BEST MAN WIN!
