WBC Silver minimumweight titlist Denver ?The Excitement? Cuello Singwangcha is in the final stages of his preparation for his WBC 105 lb division title eliminator showdown against Ganigan Lopez of Mexico. Promoter Aljoe Jaro informed philboxing that Cuello already weighs 104.5 lbs.

?I had to let him eat after our final workout.? Jaro said. ?He did six rounds with the mitts, skipped rope for thirty minutes and shadow boxed for 15 minutes. He can easily maintain the weight.?

Cuello also had a chance to jog with Manny Pacquiao at Griffith Park last May 14 before leaving for Mexico.

They were welcomed by the Mexican fans who had already seen him win twice in their country. Their comments about Cuello ranged from calling him an ?animal? to a ?small version of Pacquiao?. Jaro also informed that they are staying at the Casa Inn Celaya Hotel and he even bought a rice cooker for Denver so he will not miss rice with his meals.

Cuello fights under the name Cuello Singwangcha to honor his sponsor Thai boxing patron Naris Singwangcha. Cuello will fight Lopez this May 19 (May 20 Philippine time).
