Boxing action in Cebu continues this May 10 when Fernando ?Batang Bato? Ocon of the RWS Gym of Cebu trades punches with Aroel Romasasa of Gen. Santos City in a ten round non-title bout in San Fernando.

The 21 year old Ocon (9W-1L, 1 KO), from Bato, Leyte, won on points against JR Estremos last April 22 at the Mactan Shrine in Lapu-lapu City. This was Ocon?s second win since losing to Jether Oliva by unanimous decision in their fight for the WBO Oriental minimumweight title in Southern Leyte. The 20 year old Romasasa (9W-0L, 5 KO?s) has an unblemished record on boxrec but has no entry since his May 2011 second round stoppage win over Jerome Bontog. Romasasa has scored abbreviated wins in his last three bouts.

Penned to fight in the undercards are Jayson Redondo vs Rey Vincent Liparanan (8 rounds), Gelbert Magos vs Lester Jun Pronco (6 rounds), Jonathan Francisco vs Dodong Tubo (4 rounds), Kenny Demecillo vs Jun Ryan Quimbo (4 rounds) , Joel Soterol vs Jesson Inso (4 rounds) and Ryan Maano vs Sonny Katiangdagho (6 rounds).

Maano and Katiandagho were supposed to fight in Medellin, Cebu last April 23 but Katiandagho suffered severe motion sickness on the way to the venue and had several bouts of vomiting and was eventually declared unfit to fight.

This card is promoted by Rex ?Wakee? Salud Promotions and fight time is at 6 PM.
