Aguelo and Branzuela clash for PBF feather title

Cebu - Adonis ?TI Yamagata? Aguelo and Renan Branzuela easily made the featherweight division limit during the official weigh-in held today at the Games and Amusements Board (GAB-Cebu) office. Aguelo (126 lbs) will defend his Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) featherweight title belt against Branzuela (125 ? lbs) in the ten round main event of "Binakbakay sa Barangay" at the Gym of Barangay Basak in Lapu-lapu City on Sunday February 19.

A special attraction in this card is the six rounder between Japanese boxer TI Yamagata Masashi (110 lbs) and Junior Salvador (110 lbs) of Mandaue City.

Also set to see action are Roemart "TI Yamagata" Sentillas (112 lbs) who will trade punches with Romnick Magos (112 lbs) for ten rounds, Gerpaul "TI Yamagata" Valero (115 lbs) vs. Erwin Pulvera (116 ? lbs) 8 rounds, Rajah Renoel Pael (111 ? lbs) vs. Anthony Galigao (112lbs) 6 rounds and Ardie "TI Yamagata" Boyose (112 lbs) vs Reymund Fermin (112 lbs).

The weigh-in was supervised by Celso Miranda of GAB-Cebu. Fans will also get to see amateur bouts. Fights start at 6 PM.
This boxing event is offered FREE TO THE PUBLIC and promoted by Japanese promoter Akira Sato with the cooperation of Barangay Captain Isabelito "Belong" Darnayla and the barangay council of Brgy. Basak.
