Cebu City - ?Prince? Albert Pagara of the ALA Gym will trade punches with Lowie Bantigue in a ten round non-title bout at the Gaisano Country Mall Carpark this Sunday.

Pagara weighed in at 116 lbs while Bantigue stepped on the scales at 118 lbs, which was over the contracted limit, during the official weigh-in held Saturday morning at the Games and Amusements Board (GAB-Cebu) Office.

The 27 year old Bantigue will be penalized by wearing heavier gloves on fight night and a corresponding purse deduction. But he is still expected to test the 17 year old Pagara who is undefeated in nine fights, with seven knockouts.

Bantigue is a 44 fight veteran (21W-16L-7D,12 KO's) and has fought for Oriental and local titles while Pagara is fighting as a ten rounder for the first time.

There will be six more professional bouts featuring top notch prospects: Welbeth Loberanis (113 lbs) vs Jonathan Ricablanca (112.5 lbs) - 10 rounds, Melvin Gumban (116 lbs) vs Joash Apericio (116 lbs) - 8 rounds, Roma Rate (111 lbs) vs Rowel Garcia (112 lbs) - 6 rounds, Mark Vincent Bernaldez (122 lbs) vs Royroy Sumugat (122 lbs) - 6 rounds, Juren Labordo (111 lbs) vs Taos Basar (111 lbs) - 4 rounds and Rey Morales (113 lbs) vs Renante Suacasa (114 lbs) - 4 rounds.

The weigh-in was supervised by Glen Agena and Celso Miranda.

This card is offered free to the public and courtesy of the continuing partnership of ALA Promotions and Cobra Energy Drink.

Fight time is at 7 PM.

P.S. - Cebu City is teeming with revelers for the annual Sinulog festival. The celebration will reach its climax with the Sinulog Grand Parade this Sunday morning.
