Fast rising and undefeated ALA stalwart Albert Pagara will attempt to break into the Philippine ratings when he trade blows with erstwhile journeyman Lowie Bantigue at the Gaisano Countrymall carpark at 7:00 p.m, Sunday (January 15).

The 17-year-old prospect and younger brother of knockout artist Jason Pagara will put at stake his unblemished fight record of nine fights with seven stoppages against the 44 fights veteran Bantique.

The No. 7 nationally rated and OPBF contender Bantigue boasts of having won all his fight in Japan by knockouts when he bested Ippei Aoki in 2 rounds, Ryuju Ikehara in 5 and finally Satory Uchida in just one round. An outstanding feat seldom achieved by Filipino ringster fighting in Japan.

Meanwhile, six more professional bouts will usher in the Sinulog Box-off with Welbeth Loberanis tangling against Jonathan Ricablanca and undefeated Melvin Gumban going up against Joash Apericio in 10 and 8 round bouts respectively.

Crowd pleaser Roma Rate will again display his non-stop fighting style when he collides with Rowel Garcia of Koronadal City and another ALA boy prospect Mark Vincent Bernaldez will try to extend his wining streak versus the more experiences Roy Roy Sumugat of Bacolod City.

Making his pro-debut tonight is 4?time National amateur Gold Medalist Juren Labordo of Negros and province mate Rey Morales who will face Taos Basar of Bislig City and Renante Suacasa of Koronadal.

The event is an annual and traditional presentation of ALA Promotions in association with COBRA ENERGY DRINK in homage to the Sto. Nino. The Sinulog Boxing festivity is open and free to the public.
