Freddie Roach and Manny Pacquiao pose for posterity after the final work out at the Wildcard Gym, Saturday, June 17, 2006
Expressing full confidence that the training regimen judiciously initiated when Manny Pacquiao finally came to town on the 18th of May, the master himself, Freddie Roach declared the LA camp satisfactory with most goals and objectives safely tacked in. With that he gave the orders to break the LA training camp and resume training next week somewhere in Metro Manila. "All we need to do is fine tune the game plans crafted to counter the perceived strength, talent and skills of Oscar 'Chololo' Larios, Roach declared.
Roach expressed confidence that Pacquiao will be triumphant on July 2nd and indicated that Larios should watch out as Pacquiao is set and ready to go even now. And, he is eagerly looking forward to bring Pacquiao back to the Wildcard Gym and resume training for the next Morales fight. "The format of Manny's training is geared for him to go over 12 rounds with Larios. If we get a knock-out before that, that is a blessing we will gladly accept," said Roach.

Manny Pacquiao, in his last LA training session could not look any better. He appears to hover just about the right weight of 130 lbs, give or take a pound or two. His attitude and demeanor appears as good as it can be. Even his sense of humor is tops. Judging from the relaxed manner he handled everything, including the media interviews, the obligatory pictures with his fans and the autograph signing, Manny Pacquiao by all indications, is primed and ready to rumble.
Pacquiao receives good luck blessings and a gold crucifix.
The Pacquiao Team is set to leave from the LAX tomorrow evening, Sunday LA time on board the Philippine Air Lines and will arrive early morning on Tuesday, Manila time.
