Sultan vies for PABA welter crown in Russia today!

Filipino Dondon Sultan of the SGG Stable will try once again to win a regional crown as he vies for the Pan-Asian Boxing Association (PABA) welter crown against Anton Solopov today at the Sports Complex Energtik in Surgut, Russia.
The undefeated Solopov, 25, is a protege of future Hall-of-Famer Kostya Tszyu. He had won the title in his last outing by outpointing Parkpoom Jamphonak of Thailand. He parades a 12-0, 9 KO`s record.
Sultan, the Philippine welter champ, had twice vied for the OPBF title and once for the PABA crown, but lost in all three tries.
