Universal City:- Right smack on the middle of the famed tourist belt called ?City Walk? in this city made famous by a movie studio, Golden Boy Promotions held a short promotional show highlighting the main event boxers for their two promotions this coming Saturday. The first fight card features WBC Welterweight champion Victor Ortiz of nearby Oxnard and his challenger, the much hated Floyd Mayweather Jr of Detroit who will fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The second one involves two Mexican
warriors, Canelo Alvarez and Alfonso Gomez who will fight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Needless to say, Ortiz and the other Mexican fighters got plenty of love from the predominantly Mexican American crowd that came in responds to the tweets of Oscar de la Hoya inviting everyone to the ?open to the public? promotional gig.

Floyd Mayweather?

He got nothing but loud jeers and boos from the crowd. Not even when he reached out to Ortiz to shake his hand.
