Sibonga, Cebu ? Marco Singwangcha did not waste time demonstrating who was the superior fighter as he backed up veteran Nelson Llanos in the opening round with accurate punches to the body and head. In the second, Singwangcha trapped Llanos in the neutral corner and dropped him with hard body shots. Llanos got up but an unimpeded left hook to the midsection from Singwangcha sent Llanos sprawling in his own corner. The referee signalled the end at the 2:59 mark.

The slugger formerly known as Marco Demecillo also won the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) Bantamweight title. He bears the surname of his sponsor, Thai Promoter Naris Singwangcha, who awarded him additional cash for his victory. This fight was the main event of a fight card held last Sunday in the southern municipality of Sibonga. Promoter Rex ?Wakee? Salud plans to bring Marco to Las Vegas and fight in the undercard of Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez.
