Cuello to fight on the Miranda vs. Viloria undercard

Denver ?The Excitement? Cuello will face Omar ?El Pastor? Soto of Puerto Rico this July 16 at the Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, on the undercard of the WBO Flyweight title bout between defending champion Julio Cesar Miranda of Mexico and the Hawaiian Punch, Brian Viloria.
Cuello (26W-4L-6D, 16 KO?s) who also fights using the name Cuello D. Singwangcha, holds the WBC International minimumweight title. He stopped Samart Chaiyong of Thailand last March in Angono, Rizal. Soto (15W-7L-1D, 6 KO?s) has lost to name fighters like Ramon Garcia Hirales, Oleydong Sithsamerchai and Edgar Sosa.
Cuello and promoter Aljoe Jaro are looking forward to the August 10 bout between Mexican challenger Juan Hernandez and WBC minimumweight champ Kazuto Ioka of Japan. Jaro wants to position Cuello to fight the winner or fight for the same title if it is vacated if Ioka moves up in weight.
