'DUGONG KAMPEON' RUMBLES THIS SATURDAY

Cebu City - Dodie Boy Pe?alosa,Jr (4W-0L, 4 KO?s) weighed in at 121 ? lbs while his opponent Jeffrey Jimenez (5W-8L-2D, 3 KO?s)of Zamboanga City stepped in at 123 lbs during the official weigh-in held Friday afternoon at the Games and Amusements Board Office.

Pe?alosa and Jimenez will square off in the eight round main event of ?DUGONG KAMPEON? this Saturday June 25 at the Cebu Coliseum. In Dodie,Jr?s corner as his trainer will be his father, former two division world champ Diosdado ?Dodie Boy? Pe?alosa. The younger Pe?alosa?s last fight was in April at the Cebu City Sports Institute Arena in Pasil where he knocked out Roel Bacquiano in one round.

For the supporting bouts, Marvin Mabait weighed in at 117 lbs while Aljun Salogaol weighed 118 lbs. They are scheduled to fight for ten rounds.

Sonny Katiangdagho (131 lbs) will face Johnjier Torbiso (129 ? lbs) in a four round bout, Junie Salogaol (113 lbs) will fight John Edu Torbiso (116 ? lbs) in another four rounder.

Jaime Bermiso stepped on the scales at 104 lbs but his opponent Renren Tesorio was not able to make it to the weigh-in because of the continuing bad weather around the archipelago. He will be weighed once he arrives in Cebu. The weigh-in was supervised by Celso Miranda of the Games and Amusements Board (GAB).

Promoter and former two division world champion Gerry Pe?alosa informed during the press conference last Thursday that fans can get in the general admission or bleacher section for free courtesy of Cong. Manny Pacquiao.

Fight time is at 6 PM.
