Tapales vs. Sithsaithong in Lanao June 25

Seven weeks after winning his overseas debut, flyweight prospect Marlon Tapales is scheduled to see action in his hometown of Lanao del Norte against Yodpichai Sithsaithong of Thailand.
The 19 year old Tapales ( 17W-1L, 5 KO?s) beat Alejandro Solorio by majority decision after six rounds in a fight held at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas one day before Manny Pacquiao beat Shane Mosley.
The fight will take place at the Mindanao Civic Center Gymnasium in Tubod, the same venue where Tapales won the Philippine lt.flyweight title with a seventh round TKO win over Warlito Parrenas (now known as Wars Katsumata) last year.Tapales has impressed devoted observers of the fight game here in the Philippines because of his smooth counterpunching style.
