Up and coming superbantamweight prospect Dodie Boy Pe?alosa,Jr (4W-0L, 4 KO?s) will fight for the first time in the historic Cebu Coliseum in an eight round bout against Jeoffrey Jimenez of the Casablanca Gym of Manila this June 25.

They will be the main event of a fight card promoted by GerryPens Promotions. Dodie,Jr is the son of former IBF lt.flyweight and flyweight champion Diosdado ?Dodie Boy? Pe?alosa. His uncle, former WBC superflyweight and WBO bantamweight champ Gerry Pe?alosa is now enjoying his retirement and trying his hand as a promoter. Both former champs fought at the Cebu Coliseum and are part of its rich history.

Growing up in a boxing family has provided Dodie,Jr an advanced skill set. He has stopped his last three opponents in the first round and it would be interesting to see if Jimenez (5W-8L-2D, 3 KO?s) can actually test him.

In the supporting main event, Marvin Mabait of Cong.Ernie Fabian?s Gym of Manila will face Aljun Salogaol of the Omega Boxing Gym of Cebu in a ten rounder.

There will be more bouts in the undercards and this fight card will be shown on GMA TV this July 3. A major sponsor for this promotion is Congressman Manny Pacquiao of Sarangani.

Fight time is at 4PM.
