
Marco Singwangcha outslugs Olisa in ?Bakbakan sa Tuburan?

Tuburan, Cebu - Superflyweight prospect Marco Singwangcha of the RWS Gym of Cebu remained unbeaten as he won his fight against against Rex Olisa of the Aljoe Jaro stable by unanimous decision in the ten round main event at the Tuburan Covered Court Wednesday night. They traded hard punches in the early rounds but Singwangcha had the edge in the power department. He built his lead on bursts of body and head shots which slowly wore down the game Olisa.
As Olisa faded, a sharp jab-straight combo sent him down in round nine. He got up but was on wobbly legs when he walked back to his corner at the end of the round. Singwangcha tried to finish him in the tenth but Olisa managed to hang on until the final bell. The scorecards read 100-89, 99-90, 98-91.
The boxer from Lanao del Norte formerly known as Marco Demecillo was disappointed he did not score a knockout. He has scored stoppage wins in his previous four fights and now has a record of 12 wins (9 Ko?s) - 0 L- 1 D. Olisa drops to 7W-7L-1D, 6 KO?s. Both got extra cash dollars from Thai Promoter Naris Singwangcha.
Noel ?Dinamita? Adelmita of Bohol and the RWS Gym beat Rex Tito Singwangcha of the Aljoe Jaro Stable by unanimous decision in a keenly contested ten round bout. They traded hard and accurate punches for the first five rounds. Then in the sixth, Adelmita exploded and knocked down Tito twice.
In the seventh, an accidental headbutt inflicted a cut on Adelmita?s right eyelid which cost Tito Singwangcha a point. Adelmita smartly protected his lead using lateral movement and well timed counters. All three judges scored it 96-91 in his favor.
Romnick Magos of Mabinay, Negros Oriental and Gerald Cortes of the Aljoe Jaro stable traded solid hooks and uppercuts in a fast paced six round battle. But when the dust settled, it was Magos who won by unanimous decision . The scores ? 58-56, 59-55 and 58-56.
Marlou Sandoval Singwangcha of Siaton, Negros Oriental won by TKO in the fourth round over Brian Muring of Bohol. An avalanche of punches dropped Muring to his knees and he signaled that he had enough. Official time ? 1:42.

It was a night of mixed fortunes for the Llanera twins of Siaton.
Sehayahei Llanera needed only 118 seconds to win by TKO in his fight against Rajah Jim Tanawon of Princess Bulakna Resort, Siquijor. But Sesustener Llanera was stunned by a left hook and lost by TKO at 2: 17in the second round to Jason Redondo Singwangcha of Ormoc City.
The event was opened by amateur fights dominated by the team of Tuburan who swept their bouts against their counterparts from Medelllin. Rejan Rubuyas beat Benju Lipon on points, Palarong Pambansa bronxe medalist Francisco Asendiente beat Jomari Noynoy on points, Roden Ticag won by RTD 1st round over Roel Sumabong (38 sec.), Jan Robert Decamotan won by RTD 3rd round against Ian Talenteng (1:38) and Raymund Caputli won on points against Clint Tacorda.
Naris Singwangcha also gave cash gifts to the winners of the supporting bouts. Promoter Aljoe Jaro also attended this boxing promotion which was offered free to the public and co-presented by Rex ?Wakee? Salud International Promotions and the local government of Tuburan lead by Mayor Democrito Diamante.
