
SALUDAR FIGHTS IN CAVITE TODAY

Rising flyweight prospect Froilan ?The Sniper? Saludar fights again Saturday in Cavite against Indonesian Jack Amisa (20W-16L-2D, 14 KO?s) at the Imus Covered Court. The unbeaten Saludar (11W-0L-1D, 8 KO?s) has fought in Imus thrice and won WBO Youth Asia-Pacific and World Youth flyweight belts. Last February, he gave an impressive performance in stopping Thai Liempetch Sor Veerapol in a single round. Promoter Sammy Gello-ani has high hopes for Saludar and foresees a world title challenge in the near future.
Saludar?s fight against Amisa is a ten round non-title fight. The Indonesian is a familiar name to Filipino fans having fought the likes of Milan Melindo and Bert Batawang.
Also seeing action is another top prospect, WBO Oriental titlist Anthony ?Rocky? Marcial of the Top Contender stable of Imus who will face Cris Alag of Butuan City in a ten round lightweight contest. Bantamweights JR Magboo of Kambal Kamao and Ryan Soliveres of Elorde boxing stable will fight in an 8 rounder. Jr. featherweights Rolen del Castillo of the Alabang boxing stable and Jun Mansalay of Paig boxing stable will also fight in an eight rounder. Yoyoy ?El Chavacano? Tanamor of the Top Contender stable will fight Manny Talisic of Tanza boxing stable in a six round lt. flyweight bout.
There will be five four round bouts:

EDWIN CEBUHANO (Shape up boxing gym) VS. REY ALAPORMINA ( TANZA BOXING STABLE) ? 115 lbs.
VAL FALCUNAYA (Kambal kamao) VS. LEONARDO JANDAYAN (Angeles City) ? 122 lbs.
JONATHAN MAGSANOC (Shape up boxing gym) VS. REX WAO ANDASAN (Highland Boxing Stable) ? 118 lbs.
RALPF LULU (Shape up gym) vs. DANNY TAMPIPI (Angeles City boxing) ? 122 lbs.
