Hollywood, CA:- Top Rank Promotions early this afternoon held the Media Day for Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., at the Wildcard Gym of Freddie Roach.

Chavez Jr., ( 42-0-1, 30KO) is scheduled to meet Sebastian Zbik(30-0-0, 10KO) on Saturday June 4, 2011 at the Staples Center for the World Middleweight title. In this fight between two undefeated fighters, someone?s ?0? has got to go.

Chavez told the media people gathered to see him spar that he is going to knock-out Zbik within 6 rounds and win the title.

To many of those who saw the sparring of Chavez Jr., with another top prospect Vanes Martirosyan, Chavez Jr?s pronouncement maybe a bit pre-mature.

Martirosyan gave a very good account of himself and on many occasions during the sparring he seemed to have the upper hand. The sparring session was intense and it appeared that there was no love lost between the two. They were really hammering each other and there was no sign at all that they were holding back. It was a slugfest that drew applause from those who saw it happen.

Then Chavez Jr., then took on Manny Pacquiao?s old sparring partner, Rashad Holloway. The same thing happened. The sparring was a slugfest as well but not as intense as that between Martirosyian and Chavez Jr.

Julio Cesar Chavez was there to see his son spar and of course he drew a lot of attention from the media as well.
