Mosley Overlooks The Real Pacman And It?s a Big Mistake

Shane Mosley and his camp are so enamored with selective history. They have been focusing too much on some of Manny Pacquiao?s previous fights to capitalize on Pacman?s ?flaws,? thus utilizing them as a basis to strategize their fight-plan.
Unfortunately, though, Mosley seems to overlook the correct and bigger picture of the total Pacman today and how he evolved to become an effective fighting machine from his knockout loss to Rustico Torrecampo as a budding athlete up to his latest lopsided ?compassionate? win over Antionio Margarito being a complete tactician with speed, power and sting, and with heart.
Mosley fails to see the real Pacman gearing himself up for the bout. And this one big blunder will produce worse and fatal mistakes inside the ring.
Hence it is in this aspect that the Mosley Team is doing Sugar Shane a big disservice preparing their man for the showdown of his life against a pound-for-pound king who continues to improve and improve dramatically. A fighter who deliberately allowed himself to be hit by Cotto, Clottey and Margarito for reasons he already announced or reasons known only to him when he separately overwhelmed them all throughout the twelve ?grueling? rounds.
Mosley?s camp either suffers from lack of foresight or just plain poor sight. His overly self-assured trainer is in for a big ?wow? shock (just as the previous trainers were awed by Pacquiao from the Barrera to Margarito spectacle) to discover on May 7 a different, better and even stronger Pacquiao who is coming out of a cocoon to become the best and greatest boxer of all time.
Pacquiao is truly a work in progress and about to fire up boxing fans again when he enters the ring on fight night as a new Manny Pacquiao with something fresh and astounding to unfold before a people so eager to chant and cheer for him.
And this precisely is what excites the boxing world anticipating the Pacquiao-Mosley bout. Certainly not because Pacquiao is fighting Mosley.
