Bacolod City ? Roli Gasca was more aggressive than usual and landed his power shots with ease against Ngaotawan Sithsaithong of Thailand. Gasca floored Siththaithong with a left hook to the body and head in the second round. The Thai got up but a lightning left knocked him down for the second time.
Gasca went for the kill in the third round and knocked the Thai down twice, the last one courtesy of a left cross. The referee waived off the fight at 2:17 of the 3rd.
Arthur ?El Matador? Villanueva beat Mark Anthony Geraldo by majority technical decision after six rounds. Villanueva relied on his long jab and one-two combos to pick Geraldo apart.
Geraldo tried to close the distance midway in the fightand had some semblance of success. But a clash of heads opened a cut and the ring physician recommended the halt to the bout. The scores read ? 57-57, two judges had it 58-56 for Villanueva.
