Pe?alosa and Bacquiano make weight for ?DUGONG KAMPYON?

Cebu City ? The protagonists for this Saturday's DUGONG KAMPYON fight card easily made the stipulated weight limit during the official weigh-in held Friday noon at the Cebu City Sports Complex.

Dodie Boy Pe?alosa, Jr tipped the scales at the superbantamweight limit of 122 lbs while his opponent Roel Bacquiano stepped in at 120 lbs. They will fight for six rounds in the main event this April 2 at the Cebu City Sports Institute Arena in Pasil, San Nicolas.

Romnick Magos and Anthony Sabalde weighed at the flyweight limit of 112 lbs. They will engage in another six rounder as the supporting main event. For the four round match-ups: Nick Joy Bacalso (116 lbs) vs Erwin Yamo (115 lbs), Joe Marie Yuson (112 lbs) vs Roldan Beneso (112 lbs), Rommel Banquirigo (112 lbs) vs Sherwin Cadoy (112 lbs) and Sonny Ka Tiandagho (130 lbs) vs Ryan Maamo (130 lbs).

The boxers also has their pre-fight physical exam and the weigh-in was supervised by Rolando Mendoza of the Games and Amusements Board. There will be ten pairs of amateur bouts featuring boxers from Team Cebu City, Phil-Aust gym, Omega boxing gym and Sanai Gym. Fight time is at 6 PM. This card is promoted by Ren-Wil Promotions and held in cooperation with the Cebu City Sports Commission for the benefit of the Cebu City Amateur Boxing Team.
