Jimrex ?The Executioner? Jaca will see action again this time under the banner of RS Promotions at the Tabunok Sports Complex in Talisay City, Cebu this March 5. Jaca will face Panamanian boxer Julio Camano.
Jaca (32W-6L-3D, 17 KO?s) had an incredible comeback year in 2010 after a three fight losing streak in 2008 and being inactive in 2009. He scored four stoppage wins last year against Ramadhan Weriu of Indonesia (KO 5), James Kimori of Kenya (TKO 4),Pipino Cuevas, Jr. of Mexico (KO 1) and Han Hao of China (TKO 6).
Rafael Sancho of Spain, who heads RS Promotions, has high hopes for the 27 year old southpaw from Negros Oriental. He believes Jaca can still make one more run at a world title. Jaca is also known for his brave but losing stand against Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico in 2006 when he fought as a featherweight. Jaca currently fights at 140 lbs but Sancho believes that he is better placed at a lower weight category but he should do it gradually with the right sports nutritionist.
An interesting addition to this fight card is Dodie Boy Pe?alosa,Jr who will fight Jun Morano of the Bernard Yu Stable of Butuan City in a six round superbantamweight fight. Pe?alosa, whose father and uncle are former two division world champions, knocked out both of his opponents last year in his first two professional fights.
Also appearing in the Tabunok fight card will be Juluis Alcos vs Tantan Ricablanca (jr.flyweights 10 rounds), Virgilio Silvano vs Erwin Pulvera (superbantamweights 8 rounds), Sarry Canonigo vs Roel Honor (lt.flyweight 8 rounds), Jestoni Pepito vs Eman Labanza (superbantamweights 8 rounds), Felix Soria vs Giovani Rota (jr.welterweights 6 rounds), Jelbert Bacalso vs Junny Salogaol (flyweights 4 rounds).
