TOP RANK HYPES PACQUIAO-MOSLEY UNDERCARDS

Las Vegas, NV -- Early this afternoon, before the big Montiel-Donaire explosive fireworks, Top Rank Promotions and Zanfer Promotions held a presscon at the swank Lupo Trattoria Del Wolfgang Puck at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Hotel Casino to introduce the fighters on the undercard of the super huge Pacquiao-Mosley showdown on May 7th. The place is one of the better known top ranked restaurants in Las Vegas.

Present to answer questions from the big media turn-out were WBO junior featherweight champion Wilfredo Vasquez Jr., (20-1-1,17KO) of Bayamon, Puerto Rico and his challenger, 5-time world champion Jorge Arce (56-6-2,43KO) of Los Mochis, Mexico.

Vasquez will be making his third title defense and his Las Vegas debut when he takes on the veteran crowd pleaser, Jorge Arce.

Also present in the event was Urbano Antillon, (28-2-0,20KO) the fearless slugger from Maywood, California . Antillon will be challenging Humberto Soto ( 54-7-2,32KO) once again for the latter?s WBC Lightweight crown.

Antillon and Soto had a very animated slugfest last December 2010 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California where Soto won via a very close unanimous decision. That fight was thought to have gone either way, therefore, a re-match was made. Incidentally, it was the 2010 Yahoo Sports Fight of the Year.

Also spotted at the presscon were WBC junior flyweight champion Giovanni Segura (26-1-1, 22 KO) of Guerrero, Mexico who will be defending his crown against the person he won it from last August 2010, Ivan Calderon (36-1-1,6KO) of Guaynabo, Puerto, Rico. The fight is scheduled on April 2, 2011 at the Estadio 20 de Noviembre at Campeche, Mexico.

Paco Valcancel , HBO President was there as well as Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions and of course the grand old man himself, Bob Arum. A least we forget, Philippines? Ronnie Nathanielz and Dyan Castillejo spotted amongst the crowd too.

WBO featherweight champion, Juan Ma. Lopez was also present posing for photos and answering questions as well.
