Beverly Hills, CA:- At high noon today, Bob Arum?s Top Rank Promotions in cooperation with CBS and ShowTime, held the first of the series of press conferences aimed at hyping the May 7th blockbuster fight between Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley.

The event was held at the swank Beverly Hills Hotel along Sunset Boulevard in the west side of the famous home of the stars, Beverly Hills.

It was a grand presscon, one that has not been seen these days lately. Top Rank and CBS-ShowTime left no stone unturned in putting up the event. Everyone in the ?who-is-who" in the sports and boxing press corps was there. Why even Jinkee Pacquiao, who seldom appears in these kind of events was there too to lend her support for her husband.

What is so nice about the whole event was the fact that two classy gentlemen were involved. Thus, there was no thrash-talk. Instead, there was a lot of show of respect for each other and that made it such a nice clean event.

The event moves on to Las Vegas in two days, then on to New York and possibly Washington, DC.

The MGM people who were there announced that the early odds shows Pacquiao at -700 indicating that the book makers at Las Vegas are favoring the Filipino boxing idol to keep his WBO crown.
