Barrera sunk to his knees and referee Bruce McTavish reached the ten count at 2:56 of the round sending the Waterfront Hotel crowd in a frenzy.

Just like in their first encounter, both boxers had no difficulty landing headshots. But this time,Bautista?s raw power prevailed. Official time 2:56.

Jason Pagara used a single left hook to separate Billy Sumba from his senses in the opening round. Sumba fell on his back after being smacked in the jaw. The referee reached the count of ten at the 2:53 mark.

Medical personnel went inside the ring to revive the Indonesian. He stood up and walked to his corner after a few minutes.

DAPUDONG STINGS THE COBRA

Edrin? The Sting?Dapudong scored a 7th round TKO win over a badly battered Sofyan ?The Cobra?Effendi of Indonesia. The referee stopped the fight at 17 seconds of the 7th as Dapudong trapped Effendi in his own corner and landed another merciless barrage.

PABA Bantamweight champion Roli Gasca slipped and countered and made Joash Aparicio look silly for eight rounds. A point was deducted from Gasca in the 6th for an accidental headbutt which caused a cut on Aparecio?s left eyebrow. The scorecards read 78-74, 77-74 and 78-73 for Gasca.
