ARREOLA STARS AT PECHANGA?S KNOCKOUT GALORE

Temecula. CA: Chris Arreola ( 30-2-0, 26KO), the Mexican heavyweight prospect who holds the best chance to win a Heavyweight title for the Latinos, tonight got close to that goal.

Arreola hardly used up the first round to stop Joey Abell (27-5-0-26K0) of Coon Rapids, Michigan. Arreola battered Abell from the get go finally making the referee waive off the fight at 2:18.

In the supporting main event, an NABF Junior welterweight title fight, Josesito Lopez ( 29-3-0, 17KO) of nearby Riverside ( WBC #9, IBF #10) beat previously undefeated Mike Dallas Jr ( 17-1-1, 7KO) by a 7th round TKO.

In an exciting Super middle weight fight, former Olympian Shawn Estrada (11-0-0 10KO) of East Los Angeles knocked ? out Jon Schmidt (10-2-0, 6KO) of Minneapolis, MN at 1:48 of the 1st round. Along the way, Estrada scored 2 knocked-downs before the fateful third KD.

Joseph Elegele of Melbourne, Florida remained unbeaten and now stands at 10-0-0,8KO) with his 1st round KO of Manuel Aguilar ( 5-1-0, 4KO) of Agua Prieta, Mexico.

Matt Villanueva (5-0-0, 5KO) of Van Nuys, CA., down Jose Luis Cardenas( 5-12-1,3KO) of Sta Ana, CA 2 times on 1st round and finally scored a 2nd round TKO at :47.

Kevin Hoskins (4-0-0) of Los Angeles score a split decision over Ramon Flores (3-10-2, 3KO) . The scores were 39-37, 39, 37, 39-37. The fight is the only one for the night that went the full route.
