Cebu fight fans will finally get a chance to see two of the best young prospects in boxing - Marco Singwangcha and Marlon Tapales ? together in one fight card this February 6 in Lapu-lapu City.

Singwangcha (8W-0L-1D,6 KO's) will defend his Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) superflyweight title against Ricardo Roa (6W-4L-2D, 1KO). Last November in Siaton, Negros Oriental, the unbeaten Singwangcha, formerly known as Marco Demecillo, stopped Rogen Flores in a single round.

Tapales (14W-1L, 4 KO's) will now go by the name M.Tapales Singwangcha and he will face Jeffrey Cerna (7W-3L, 4KO's) in a ten round non-title flyweight contest.

Tapales won the Philippine lt.flyweight title last year with a 7th round TKO win over Warlito Parrenas but has since moved up in weight fighting at 112 and 115 lbs. He has fought mostly in Mindanao but has impressed fans and sportswriters with his natural ability and pinpoint counter punching.

The boxers carry the surname Singwangcha as homage to their sponsor, Thai promoter Naris Singwangcha.

Also seeing action are PBF featherweight champion T.I. Yamagata Aguello versus PBF Lightweight champion Gabejan E. Singwangcha in a ten round non-title contest, Lobert Bayo vs. Christian Saga (6 rounds) and Bobbie Singwangcha vs Jomar Torreon (6 rounds). Fight fans will also get to see amateur bouts. This boxing event is courtesy of NARIS & WAKEE BOXING PROMOTIONS and is billed as BAKBAKAN SA MACTAN - HALAD SA KADAUGAN. Fight time is at 4 PM.
