LAS VEGAS, NEVADA--From now on, expect Jimrex Jaca to grace your living rooms more often as he will most definitely be campaigning in the United States as undercard to big fights that will be aired live on television in the Philippines.
This was the assessment made by Jaca's manager Rex "Wakee" Salud, who revealed that the Sibulan, Negros Oriental fighter will be seeing action in the first week of March underneath the Bobby Pacquiao-Carlos Hernandez rematch following his important win last Saturday here over Mexican Geronimo Hernandez.
Jaca is set to depart here on January 25th, and will arrive in the Philippines on the 27th with his manager.
"I want Jaca to get the most exposure with Manny, because he sacrificed a lot for this win," said an ecstatic Salud yesterday.
Jaca, for his part, thanked his manager for giving him a chance to fly to the Philippines with Manny, as he said he has already started missing his family.
"Mas OK kung uuwi muna ako, at pagkatapos, babalik nalang ako dito sa US para mag-ensayo," Jaca stated.
The main event will feature Bobby Pacquiao in a grudge rematch with Carlos "Famoso" Hernandez, whom he beat in a 'controversial' fashion the first time they met.
