Allen, Northern Samar ? Rey Loreto of the Highland Boxing Stable beat Benecer Alolod of the Brumsmick Stable by unanimous decision in the main event of a fight card held at the Allen Coliseum and Sports Complex of Allen, Samar. The eight round battle between two light flyweight southpaws was punctuated by furious exchanges but it was Loreto who landed the more accurate punches.

One point was deducted from Alolod in the 4th and 6th rounds due to headbutts that inflicted a cut on Loreto?s right eyelid and scalp. The scorecards read 77-73 for all three judges.

Dondon Jimenia of Gen. Santos City won by 4th round TKO over Ryan Malitig of the Obidos stable of Baguio City in the co-main event.

Jimenea employed a stick and move routine and hard hooks to the body. A hook to the liver sent Malitig down and as he got up at the count of eight, Jimenea pounced on him with more punches prompting the referee to stop the fight. Official time : 51 seconds 4th round.

Jimenea bounced back from the unanimous decision loss he suffered in Punta Princesa, Cebu City at the hands of Marco Singwangcha in a PBF jr.bantamweight title fight last September.

For the supporting bouts Wilber Andogan of the Highland Boxing Stable won by 5th round TKO over Roy Albaera of the Brumsmick Stable in their mini-flyweight bout. Albaera did a lot of clowning and taunting in the opening round but lost a point in the third when his headbutt inflicted a cut on Andogan?s right eyelid.

Near the end of round 4, Andogan fired a hard right hook that sent Albaera down. In the 5th, Albaera was reeling from a series of head shots and his corner threw in the towel prompting the referee to call a halt at the 1:25 mark.

In a fight between two featherweight southpaws, John Ray Pasaylo of the Highland Boxing Stable beat John Naimes of the Agayas Boxing Stable by third round TKO. Pasaylo scored two knockdowns in round two and in the third, Naimes was knocked down again by a body blow and he signalled that he had enough. Official time : 2:04.

Xerex Golez of Tagum City won by unanimous decision over Charlou Paler in four rounds.

Golez scored a knockdown in the opening round of this rough and tumble mini-flyweight bout. Paler tried to mount a rally in the last two rounds but it was not enough. The scores ? 40-35, 39-36 and 39-36.

Stephen Gelawa of the Highland Stable won by four round majority decision over Gabriel Ruyo of the Monis Stable in their lightweight contest. Ruyo was knocked down in the opening round. They traded vicious hooks and Gelawa wound up with a bloodied nose in round two and a hematoma under his right eyelid.

The scorecards on two judges read 39-36 and 38-37 for Gelawa and one judge had it 38-38.

The fight card billed as BAKBAKAN SA ALLEN: YANIGAN NG KAMAO was held last Tuesday and supervised by the Games and Amusements Board (GAB) of Cebu headed by Rolando Mendoza.
