Siaton, Negros Oriental ? Boxing fans in the municipality of Siaton will get a chance to see two Philippine Boxing Federation title holders in action tonight as hometown boy Jason Egera defends his superbantamweight title against Jestoni Pepito of Cebu.

The supporting main event will feature undefeated PBF superflyweight champ Marco Demecillo Singwangcha of Cebu against Rogen Flores of Zamboanga City in a non-title bout.
The official weigh-in was held Monday noon at the Conference Hall of Siaton?s Market Square supervised by Rolando Mendoza of the Games and Amusements Board (GAB ? Cebu). Egera weighed in at 120 lbs while Pepito came in at 121 lbs.

Singwangcha weighed 116 ? lbs while Flores tipped the scales at 116.
This event was initially scheduled for November 26 and is part of the celebrations for Siaton?s Inagta Festival. The fights will be held at the Mayor Apolinario Quisay Gymnasium.

There will be six professional bouts in the undercard: Marlou Sandoval of Siaton (108 lbs) vs Joseph Dimos of Dumaguete City (109 lbs) - 4 rounds, Romeo Opanel of Siaton (120 lbs) vs Jun Ryan Quimbo of Cebu City (121 lbs) - 4 rounds, Charlie Sabejon of Siaton (118 lbs) vs Bobby Sentillas of Mandaue City (118 lbs) - 4 rounds, Renjie Sabanal of Siaton (111 lbs) vs Romnick Magos of Gen. Santos City (111 lbs) - 4 rounds, Lyndel Radoc of Siaton (111 lbs) vs Jerome Casas of Cebu (110 lbs) - 4 rounds, and the rematch between Siquijor natives Rajah Nas Bantugan of Prinsesa Bulakna Resort (124 lbs) vs Honey Boy Vidad (126 lbs)-4 rounds.

Bantugan and Vidad fought to a majority draw two months ago on their home island.

This boxing promotion is being sponsored by the Siaton Local Govt. headed by Mayor Albert Ator, Thailand?s number 1 promoter Mr. Naris Singwangcha, Prinsesa Bulakna Resort in Maria, Siquijor through the efforts of Mr. Dodo Putalan and matchmaker Willie Flores of RWS International Promotions.

Quick facts about Siaton:
Siaton is arice growing and fishing municipality located at the southern part of Negros Oriental. The highlight of their annual fiesta is a ritual of pagan origins, the Inagta, featuring dark-painted performers imitating the movements of certain wildlife.
