Fight fans in Siaton, Negros Oriental will get to see hometown boy Jason Egera defend his Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) superbantamweight title against Jestoni Pepito of Cebu this Friday November 26.

Egera won the vacant PBF title last March in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental when he survived a fourth round knockdown and rallied to win a 10 round unanimous decision over Gedion Amba. Last July, Egera lost on points to Roli Gasca in a non-title fight at the Gaisano Country Mall Carpark. Pepito will try to bounce back from a unanimous decision loss to Alvin Maquiling last August in Sibonga, Cebu.

The supporting main event will feature undefeated PBF superflyweight champ Marco Demecillo Singwangcha of Cebu against Rogen Flores of Zamboanga City. Demecillo Singwangcha is also ranked number six among the Philippines' superflyweights by the Games and Amusements Board (GAB). He won his title last September by unanimous decision over Dondon Jimenea of Manila in Punta Princesa, Cebu City.

There will be six more professional bouts: Marlou Sandoval of Siaton vs Elmer Pono of Mandaue City (mini-flyweights 4 rounds), Romeo Opanel of Siaton vs Jun Ryan Quimbo of Cebu City ( superbantamweights 4 rounds), Charlie Sabejon of Siaton vs Bobby Singwangcha of Mandaue City (bantamweights 4 rounds), Renjie Sabanal of Siaton vs Romnick Magos of Gen. Santos City (flyweights 4 rounds), Lyndel Radoc of Siaton vs Jerome Singwangcha of Cebu (flyweights 4 rounds) and Rajah Nas Bantugan of Prinsesa Bulakna Resort, Siquijor vs Honey Boy Vidad also from Siquijor(featherweights 4 rounds).

This boxing promotion is being sponsored by the Siaton Local Govt. headed by Mayor Albert Ator, Thailand?s number 1 promoter Mr. Naris Singwangcha, Prinsesa Bulakna Resort in Maria, Siquijor through the efforts of Mr. Dodo Putalan and RWS International Promotions. Fight time is at 7 PM.
