Las Vegas, Nevada: After the exciting fights that made the night so electric, the traditional post fight press con was held by the promoters - Arum, Shaw and Dibella - to complete the evening.

The following are some of the quotes that we were able to gather between taking notes and photos:

Arum: ?The announced attendance to night is 4818.?

Shaw: ?Marquez wanted to come to this press room and he as ready to go but the doctors with the NSAC made him go to the hospital for MRI and further checkup of his injured shoulder.?

?The shoulder injury has been a prior problem and he hurt it again tonight but that is not an excuse for the lost. He lost to a better fighter.

?Like a true Mexican warrior, Marquez wanted to continue but unfortunately he can?t because of the injury.

?Tony Weeks the referee, allowed JuanMa to recover when he was rocked by Marquez.?

JuanMa Lopez: ?I would like to thank God for the victory and it was an honor to fight in this great arena against a great champion.?

?It was a difficult fight and I got hit on the 4th. But so what? It showed I can take a punch.

?Tonight I join the elite in this division and I would like to fight the best. The best are Gamboa and me. But before Gamboa, if they want a re-match, I will give him a re-match.

?I talked to him during the fight as per instructions from my corner but I cannot repeat what I said to him in this room.

?I did not KO him, but I took his heart out.

?He was a great fighter, but he should have shown me more.?
