
Tapales fights Olisa Today in Paboksing sa Araw ng Glan

Philippine lt.flyweight champ Marlon Tapales will fight two divisions higher against top R.P. jr.bantamweight contender Richard Olisa today in the municipality of Glan, Sarangani Province.
Tapales (13W-1L,4 KO's) won the R.P. 108 lb division by 7th round TKO over Warlito Parrenas last April in front of his hometown fans in Tubod, Lanao del Norte. Tapales (13W-1L with 4 KO's) weighed in at 115.3 lbs while Olisa (20W-12L-2D, 9 KO's) weighed in at 116.6 lbs during the official weigh-in held Tuesday. They will figure in a ten round non-title bout.
For the supporting bouts: Superflyweights Mark Anthony Geraldo (18W-2L-3D, 9 KO's)of Valencia, Bukidnon and Ricardo Roa (6W-3L-2D, 1 KO) of Manila will fight in a ten rounder, Featherweights RJ Anoos (4W-1L-1D, 1 KO) of Cebu and Jog Alim (9W-4-1D, 6 KO's) of Davao will figure in an eight round scrap.
Marlon Alta (7W-1L, 5 KO's) of Maitom, Sarangani will fight Romnick Rapista (3W-19L-1D, 2 KO's) who is substituting for the injured Naozumi Tsuchiyama of Japan.
An intriguing preliminary bout is between Rolando Navarette,Jr (2W-0L-1D, 2KO's)of Gensan and Don King Tampus (3W-3L-1D) of Davao (6 rounds miniflyweights).
Other bouts include Christian Saga (3W-0L, 2KO's) of Cebu vs Rocky Sardido (7W-10L-4D, 2 KO's)of Davao (6 rounds jr.bantamweights), Randy Petalcorin (8W-1L, 7 KO's) vs. Rey Morano (2W-22L, 1 KO) of Cagayan de Oro, Aorel Romasasa (4W-0L)of Glan vs Charly Lamila (1W-7L, 1KO) of Davao (6 rounds flyweights), JR Idurot (2W-0L, 2 KO's) of Gensan versus Juanito Kid Tumogsok (2W-2L-1D, 2KO's) of CDO (6 rounds jr.bantamweights) and Jobel Romasasa (5W-0L, 2KO's) vs Ariel Piscos (2W-0L, 1 KO) -4 rounds miniflyweights. This boxing event is presented by RWS International Promotions, Sarangani Congressman Manny Pacquiao and Mayor Tata Yap.
