Marco Singwangcha headlines Boxing in Sibonga

Boxing fans in Sibonga, Cebu will be treated to an exciting mix of amateur and professional boxing matches this Saturday August 7.

For the professional bouts, superflyweight rising star Marco Demecillo Singwangcha of Cebu City will fight Joash Aparecio of Cagayan de Oro City in a ten round bout.

Marco is sponsored and promoted by Naris Singwangcha of Thailand and managed by Rex Wakee Salud of Cebu. Demecillo Sinwangcha is undefeated in his 7 fights with an excellent record of 6wins (4 ko?s), 0 loss & 1 draw. He won his last 3 fights via knockout.

The supporting main event will be Jestoni Pepito Singwangcha of Cebu City who will face Alvin Maquiling of Cagayan de Oro in a ten round superbantamweight contest.

In the undercards, Bantamweights Marvin Tampus of Bato, Leyte vs. Aljon Salugaol of Cebu ( 8 rounds), flyweights Rex Tito Singwangcha of Manila vs. Jerome Bontog of the Phil-Aust Gym of Mandaue City (8 rounds), flyweights Elmer Pono of the TI Yamagata Gym vs JR Salvador of the Phil-Aust gym of Mandaue City (4 rounds) and superflyweights Jerome Casas of Leyte vs. Jomar Torion of the Phil-Aust Gym (4 rounds).

The official weigh-in of the adversaries was held at the office of the Games and Amusements Board (GAB-Cebu) Friday noon.

The finals of the 3rd Leonil Bacaltos Cup amateur boxing tournament will open the festivities that will be in held at the Bonifacio Bacaltos Sports and Cultural Centrum in Sibonga.

This event is being promoted by Naris Singwangcha, Rex Wakee Salud and Aljoe Jaro and supported by Sibonga local Govt., headed by Mayor Lionel E. Bacaltos and made possible through the effort of Vice ? Mayor Rey Apuda and RWS Int?l matchmaker Willy Flores.
