It will be skill versus will this Saturday when Roli Gasca (W12 - L1, 1 KO?s) of Barili,Cebu fights Jayson Egera (W12-L4, 5 KO?s) of the Futalan Stable, Siaton, Negros Oriental at the Gaisano Country Mall Car Park.

Gasca is a crafty boxer who relies on the sweet science to tame his opponents while Egera is a tested battler who can rise from the canvas to win a fight. Last May, Gasca outhustled aggressive brawler Jessie Albaracin of Davao City for a convincing unanimous decision win in Mandaue City.

Egera is a former WBO Asia Pacific bantamweight champion who figured in a hair-raising knockout loss on national television last year when Jundy Maraon knocked him unconscious for several minutes at the Cebu Coliseum. But Egera has bounced back going 1 win-1 loss in two very close fights against Petch Kokietgym of Thailand.

Last March 7, 2010, Egera showed true grit when he survived a fourth round knockdown and rallied to win a 10 round unanimous decision over Gedion Amba for the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation superbantamweight title in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental.

This exciting free to the public boxing gathering will also parade former WBO Asia Pacific light flyweight Champion Along ?Boholano Bulldog? Denoy of Candijay, Bohol who will go up against Rogen Flores of Dipolog City.

Also seeing action in the undercards are prospects Genisis Servania of Bacolod City against Jestoni Pepito of Cebu City, Jerson Mancio versus Roger Echavez of DDP Stable, Butuan City, Gerpol Valero of Phil-Aust Gym Mandaue City versus Sarry Canonigo of Sta. Cruz Stable of Talisay, Jocel Gestopa of Consolacion, Cebu versus Memar Dula of Talisay, and Joseph Demos of Dumaguete versus Marlon Sandoval of Siaton, Negros Oriental.

The latest edition of the ?SUMMIT FIGHT NIGHT BOXING TOUR? will be on July 24 at the Gaisano Country Mall Car Park. Weigh-in of the protagonists will be on July 23 Friday 1 PM at the Games and Amusements Board (GAB) Cebu office. This event is presented by ALA Promotions in association with Summit Natural Drinking Water.
