All set for Boxing in Lutopan this Tuesday

Larry ?Bon Jovi? Canillas (13W-2L, 11 KO?s) of Toledo City will fight Prell Tupas (6W-5L-4D ) of Metro Manila in a ten round non-title bout tomorrow July 13 at the Lutopan Recreation Center. This boxing card is in line with the Lutopan Annual Fiesta celebration. The boxers made the prescribed weight limit during Monday?s official weigh-in supervised by the Games and Amusements Board (GAB).

Canillas campaigns in the superbantamweight division and is one of the rising stars of the ALA gym. Last month, he knocked out Dexter Mendoza in two rounds in Mandaue City. He has scored six straight knockout wins.

Also set to see action is the popular Jojo ?Flash? Intor who will face Romano Gelig of Bohol in a six round superbantamweight contest. There will be four other supporting bouts: Welterweights Naozumi Tsukiyama of Japan vs Jojo Arnado 6 rounds, Flyweights Marjun Macahilig of Aklan vs. Mark Anthony Geraldo of Cagayan de Oro 8 rounds and Bantamweights Mark Jesson Taroja vs Richard Areta 6 rounds and superflyweights Jicky Gako vs Charlie Sabijon 4 rounds.
