
Dapudong, Garcia make weight, face Mexican foes tomorrow

Edrin Dapudong of North Cotabato weighed in at 112 lbs while his Mexican opponent, Jesus Jimenez weighed in at 110 lbs. during the official weigh-in held in Tepic, Mexico for the fight card billed as "The Rivalry Mexico Vs. Philippines",
They will fight for the WBC Flyweight (112 lb.) Silver Belt title.The referee will be American Gerald Ritter and the judges are Juan Carlos Pelayo (MEX), Stephen Blea (US) and Reynante Danesco (PHIL).
Richard Jun Garcia of Mandaluyong City weighed 114 lbs.and Mexico?s Juan Jose Montes weighed 115lbs. They will fight for the WBC Superflyweight (115 lb.) Silver Belt title. Montes also holds the WBC Youth superflyweight belt.
The referee will be Stephen Blea of the U.S. and the judges are Juan Carlos Pelayo (MEX), Gerald Ritter (US) and Reynante Danesco (PHIL).
Dapudong and Garcia will be fighting not just for belts, but also to elevate their world rankings and hope for a future world title shot and bigger paydays. The fights will be held Sunday A.M. Philippine Time.
