Mayol-Romero Open Media Workout

Queretaro, Mexico: Early this afternoon, WBC Junior Flyweight Champion, Rodel Mayol and his challenger, ex-champion Omar Nino Romero held a public work at nearby San Juan Del Rio.
The event was put up by the promoters, Zanfer Promotions. It was held on a makeshift ring placed in the middle of a plaza in front of a beautiful old church whose design is typical in this region.
Afrer the workout, the fighters stayed a few minutes to posed for pictures and sign autographs.
Tomorrow, the official weigh-in will occur at the same place and fight night follows on Saturday at a bull-fight ring that can seat hundreds of people.
