Boxers for SGG?s ?THE NEXT PROSPECTS? make weight, fight this Saturday

The Mandaue City Plaza Square will host an exciting professional boxing fight card offered free to the public billed as ?THE NEXT PROSPECTS?. Former WBO Oriental junior lightweight Champion Anthony ?Rocky? Marcial and Daryll Pucdol will fight for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Both made the 135 lbs. weight limit during the official weigh-in held at the GAB Cebu office supervised by Celso Miranda. The boxers also went through their pre-fight physical examinations Friday afternoon.

Other fighters seeing action include highly decorated Amateur Philippines Lightweight National Medalist Adonis Cabalquinto will go up against Alde Sosa in a six-round junior welterweight contest.

There will be three eight round bouts featuring Sarangani province?s Jr. Bantamweight John Mark Apolinario versus Jason Geda, lt.flyweights Edward Penerio versus Andy Seneres and junior lightweights Jose Ocampo of Manila against Jaime Barcelona of Cagayan de Oro.

There will be two six rounders - Manila- based undefeated Jr. Featherweight prospect Rodney Rafols versus Edison Serrano of Mandaue City and Flyweights Anthony Sabalde versus Jerpol Valero.

There are three four round bouts ? Undefeated mini flyweight Ivan Soriano will battle with Jayme Bermeso of Cebu City , while making his professional debut is Angelo Marcial, the brother of Rocky Marcial, will go up against Edmar Tunacao of Mandaue City and Virgilio Silvano battles with Junilo Salvador.

With these ten bouts, Sammy Gello-ani's SGG Sports Promotions will launch a new batch of prospects to develop future world beaters. Fight time is at 6 PM on March 27, 2010 at the Mandaue City Plaza Square.
