BAKBAKAN SA BAYAWAN on SUNDAY

Bayawan City, Negros Oriental- The boxers for this Sunday?s double header Philippine Boxing Federation Championship fight card made weight during the official weigh-in held at the Bayawan City Integrated Bus Terminal, Hotel, Conference, and Business Center.

Jesus Muzaka Singwancha will face Jovie Merca of Butuan City in a ten round battle for the PBF junior lightweight title. Singwancha fought in Cebu twice last year winning against Rey Labao for the WBO Asia-Pacific superfeatherweight title and moved up to lightweight but lost to Czar Amonsot.

Former WBO Asia-Pacific bantamweight champ Jason Egera of Siaton, Negros Oriental will face Gedion Amba of Cebu City / Wakee Gym for the PBF superbantamweight title. Egera now goes by the name Jayson Singwancha.

For the undercard bouts Jestoni Pepito of Masbate City/Wakee gym will face Jayson Geda of Mandaue City in an eight round superbantamweight contest. Marco Demecillo of Iligan City/Wakee Gym will fight Jerome Bontog of Mandaue City in a six round superflyweight bout. There will be two four rounders: Bantamweights Chaiyo Singwancha of Siaton,Negros Oriental vs Christian Saga of Cebu City/Wakee Gym, and Light flyweights Marlou Sandoval vs Junrey Sta. Ana of Cebu City.

The weigh-in was supervised by Rolando Mendoza of the Games and Amusements Board (GAB Reg. VII).

The fights will be held March 7 at 7pm at the Bayawan City Integrated Bus Terminal, Hotel, Conference, and Business Center grounds. Sunday?s festivities will also feature local amateur bouts.
