SUMMIT FIGHT NIGHT ON SINULOG SUNDAY

CEBU City ? As dancing and revelry fill the streets of the Queen City of the South during its annual Sinulog Festival, the Gaisano Country Mall Carpark will once again host the ?SUMMIT FIGHT NIGHT BOXING SERIES?.

Philippine flyweight champion Rocky Fuentes of the ALA Gym of Cebu will headline the event offered free to the public. Fuentes will face Pit Ancaya of Metro Manila in a ten round bout.

Up and coming superflyweight Marjun Yap of Cagayan de Oro will fight Julius Agcopra of Manila in a ten round bout as the co-main event.

There will also be three six round bouts and three four rounders. Marjohn Macahilig of Kalibo, Akalan will face Fernando Ocon of the Rex Wakee Salud stable in lt.flyweight contest. Superflyweight Milchar Valiente of Lanao del Norte will face Dave Baliguat of the Rex Wakee Salud stable.

Bantamweight Jesson Tarona of Butuan City will fight John Paul Colon. Zalde Aroa of Bantayan Island will face Paul Sasan of Bohol in a four round flyweight bout. Kotski Ebala of Cagayan de Oro will face Roel Peligro of Bohol in a superflyweight contest and Joel Gestopa of Cebu City will face Gerald Ranque in a four round featherweight bout.

The weigh-in and pre-fight physical examination was held at the Games and Amusements (GAB) office in Cebu City supervised by Celso Miranda. Fights start at 7 PM Sunday.
