Ramie Laput lost by seventh round knockout to Zsolt Bedak of Hungary in Soelden, Austria. The German language website boxing.de covered the December 4 bout and reported that ?Zsolt Bedak aus Ungarn, auch aus dem spotlight boxing-Team, gewann durch K.o. in Runde 7 gegen Ramie Laput von den Philippinen und eroberte so den WBO-Inter-Conti-G?rtel im Superbantamgewicht?

Zsolt Bedak from Hungary, also out of the Spotlight Boxing Team, won by K. O. in round 7 against Ramie Laput of the Philippines and won the WBO-Intercontinental belt in the Superbantamweight division.

Laput drops to 38W-4 L, 18 KO?s and will dip in the WBO rankings aside from losing his Intercontinental belt. His opponent Zsolt Bedak is undefeated and now a record of 15 W-0 L, 5 Ko?s.

A familiar name on Bedak?s record is German Meraz, who he beat last year by eight round unanimous decision. Meraz fought in Cebu against Gerry Penalosa last February and lost a ten round unanimous decision.
