AGUA CALIENTE INVITES THE PUBLIC TO A PRESSCON ANNOUNCING THE BRADLEY-PETERSON TITLE FIGHT

The Agua Caliente Casino Resort and Spa at Rancho Mirage, CA. announced that they will hold an “open” press conference for the title fight between Timothy Bradley Jr., (WBO Junior welterweight champion) and Lamont Peterson (WBO Interim junior welterweight champion).

The event which is open to the public is scheduled on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the Cahuilla Ballroom of the famed Agua Caliente Casino Resort. It starts at 12:00 noon.

Bradley who hails from Palm Springs, the desert resort city adjacent to Rancho Mirage holds a record of 24-0-0, (11KO) will be defending his title (for the 4th time since winning it in May 2008) against Peterson (27-0-0, 13KO) of Washington DC.

The fight will be on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Show at Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa.

The fight card is promoted by Gary Shaw Productions and the Thompson Boxing Promotions in association with Top Rank and Agua Caliente. It will be televised live on Showtime Championship Boxing beginning at 9PM ET/PT 9 delayed on the West Coast)

The telecast will open with the World Super flyweight title fight between Vic Darchinyan (32-2-1,26KO) the Armenian /Australian slugger and Tomas Rojas, the interim WBC super flyweight champion.
