WBO minimumweight champion Donnie, fresh from two successive title defenses in Mexico, will finally get the chance to solidify his "Mexecutioner" status in front of local fans when he defends his title on December 5 in Manila for his fourth title defense.

This was revealed for the first time when international fight agent Sampson Lewkowicz, who represents Nietes, informed the media in an interview of the upcoming title defense in the country.

Nietes, however, will not be completely out of the Mexican radar in this fight as he is penciled to face yet another Mexican fighter, possibly the world-ranked Ivan Meneses of Puebla, Mexico.

This was confirmed yesterday by Nietes' chief benefactor Antonio L. Aldeguer, whose son Michael manages the Bacolod-raised fighter.

"There might be another Mexican fighter for Nietes in that card," informed Aldeguer, who also indicated that the show will also have Brian Viloria defending his title as well as the possible inclusion of female world champ Anna Julaton.

Aldeguer, however, is not at all bothered by the army of Mexican fighters being put in front of Nietes, saying that his fighter trains year-long, and is one of the most disciplined athletes he has in the gym.
