HEY TIMOTHY, GET ON THE QUEUE

After being declared as the “winner” over Nate Campbell last Saturday night at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort, Timothy Bradley, the WBO light welterweight champion declared: “Manny Pacquiao, Mayweather, Cotto- I want to fight one of the stars. One of the guys who they say is a big star. That’s who I want to fight, a big star.”

Wow, pretty big words for a guy that is barely on the rise.

Yes, he has a 25-0-0, 12KO record but that alone does not automatically put him up against the very top people he mentioned, particularly Pacquiao.

Besides, other than Campbell who he “stopped” in three rounds, in his last four fights, Bradley did nothing but win via UD, nothing spectacular so to speak. No magnificent knock-outs to brag about.

And, he barely won via a split decision over Junior Witter, the same Witter who quit after round 8th, on a fight with Devon Alexander on the same card at Agua Caliente.

That does not exactly put Bradley on the same level as Pacquiao, does it?

Best advise to Bradley?

Quit mouthing-off and just earn your laurels before asking for big fights with the likes of Pacquiao, and Cotto, or even Mayweather.

Perhaps go try your luck against some of your fellow raising stars like Amir Khan (WBA), Juan Urango (IBF) or even Devon Alexander (WBC) and unify the division.

Only then can you truly qualify to call out Manny Pacquiao.

Until you have done that, just hush and get to work. You have a long way to go before you will even be worth a look by the pound4pound king, Manny Pacquiao.

But that does not mean you can’t do it. It just takes patience, a lot of hard work and an exciting string of victories.

You have the talent and the people to back you up. The question is are you up to it?

Thus, until then, just stay on queue.

Oh incidentally, the line starts over there…..see where Mosley, Marquez, Mayweather, Urango, Berto and Khan are? Yeah, that’s the line.
