
ALL SET FOR SAGA IN NAGA 3 “REMATCH” FIGHT CARD TODAY

It’s all systems go for the SAGA in NAGA 3 fight card today July 31 as the main protagonists made their respective weight limits. The official weigh-in was held at the GV Tower Hotel in Cebu City and supervised by Rolando Mendoza of the Games and Amusements Board.
Jason Egera ( 11 W (5Kos) 3L) will face Thailand’s Petch Kokietgym (7W - 1 L) in a 12 round battle for the vacant vacant WBO Oriental Superflyweight title. Egera beat Kokietgym by split decision last May at the Cebu Coliseum in an eight round fight.
Rey Labao will fight Jesus Singwancha, a Congolese based in Thailand, for the WBO Asia Pacific superfeatherweight title. Federico “Magnifico” Catubay will square off against another Thailander Pramuansak Posuwan in an eight round contest.
The undercard features Arnel Dunal vs. Daryll Pucdol in an 8 round lightweight bout, , South Korean Jhonghwa Lee vs. Andy Seneres in a six round superflyweight tussle, Flyweights Nino Suelo vs.Ricard Donaire for 6 rounds, Miniflyweights Edward Panerio vs. Jerome Buntog 6 rounds, Superflyweights Ryan Illustrisimo vs John Paul Colon 6 rounds and Ivan Soriano vs JR Slavador in a six round miniflyweight bout, and Jr. flyweights Anthony Sabalde vs Erwin Yamo 4 rounds. Jimmy Cescon was six pounds over the limit and will wear heavier gloves in his six round featherweight fight against Jose Ocampo.
Fight time starts at 5 PM at the Naga City Sports Complex and will be aired live to Thailand and shown on CCTN Ch. 47 on a delayed basis on the Saturday boxing program TKO hosted by Bobby Inoferio and Promoter Sammy Gello-ani.
