Las Vegas, NV:- The Pacquiao-Hatton fight card at the MGM Grand Garden Arena is not the only game in town. There is another huge fight card happening Friday evening at the Hard Rock Casino down the street from the MGM. Top Rank is promoting it to serve as an appetizer for the big Saturday night fight.

Top Rank included three Filipino gladiators in the fight card, a smart move indeed to attract the Filipino crowd that came to see the Pacquiao-Hatton tiff.

And, judging from the response of the Filipinos, many will be at the Hard Rock Friday night.

The promoters held the weigh-in late Thursday afternoon (Las Vegas time). The results are as follows:

Urbano Antillon who Filipinos recognized as the fighter that KO?d Bobby Pacquiao in 1 round and later became Manny Pacquiao?s sparring partner for the Hatton fight tipped the scales at 135 pounds. His opponent Tyrone Harris of Lansing, Michigan came it at exactly at the same 135 lbs.

The Antillon-Harris fight is the main televised fight. It will be on TV Azteca.

The under fight on TV will be against Juan Buendia who came in at 148.5 lbs and his opponent, Alfonso Gomez was at 149lbs.

The three Filipino who are on the fight card and their respective opponents made weight as well.

Dennis Laurente came it at 139.5 and his opponent Marvin Cordova was at 143.

Mark Jason Melligen of the ALA Gym in Cebu tipped the scales at 141 lbs while his foe a local boy from Las Vegas, Ramon Montano was 140lbs.

Michael Farenas, Gerry Penalosa?s prot?g?? from Gubat in the Bicol region was 127lbs and his opponent from Barannquilla. Columbia Walter Estrada came in at the same weight of 127.
