Los Angeles, CA: - The fight is a still many weeks away but the conditioning is slowly but surely evolving.

Today, as a continuation of the conditioning process started last week, Manny Pacquiao went through the usual routine he does at the Wildcard Gym under the guidance of the Michael Moorer, Eric Brown and Buboy Fernandez.

Pacquiao did the usual shadow boxing, double and single speed bags, jump rope, heavy bag and abs exercises and stretching.

The only difference was he did the mitts with his old buddy Buboy Fernandez because the famed coach and guru at the Wildcard Gym, Freddie Roach, is in England to be on the corner of Amir Khan. The British lightweight is scheduled to fight Marco Antonio Barerra on Saturday, March 14th at the MEN Arena for the WBA International title as well as the WBO Intercontinental Lightweight crown.

What was so interesting was the fact that good ole? Buboy has not lost his touch in so far as doing the mitts with the Pacman. He was good, very good in fact.

Of course, it is different if Pacquiao does the mitts with Roach, but Buboy did not disappoint. He was at his best and on top of the game. And, he showed that for the whole six rounds he did with Pacquiao today.

In fact the Team, Pacquiao in particular are all praises for the job well done. Buboy could not have done a better job!

But Buboy sweat like heck!

Roach? absence for the whole week could mean a blessing for Buboy and Pacquiao.

On one side, Pacquiao?s conditioning process will not be interrupted, and on the other side, Buboy will get his work out too.

In fact, the joke around the gym was Roach will be surprised when he returns in a week because not only Pacquiao be ready to begin his sparring sessions but Buboy will be in tip top shape as well.

After all, with the sweating he will be experiencing in doing the mitts with Pacquiao for this whole week, he will lose some of that extra pounds he gained from doing nothing but having a good time since after the de la Hoya ?Pacquiao fight.
